The Rogue River is a great place to bring your kids fishing for winter steelhead in March and April. The weather is getting warmer and we always have our heater in the boat for the morning hours. My guests also have the luxury of choosing a half day trip to break their kids in gradually. We can start early or late; our main goal is for you to enjoy your time fishing with us.
They call it "fishing and not catching" for a reason, however it's very rare to not have a day of catching during this time of year. We mainly Side-drift bait for these fish but also find success back trolling plugs.
In a society dominated by technology, we encourage you to try to introduce your kids to the great outdoors in 2015!
