Guided salmon and steelhead fishing on Southern Oregon's Rogue, Umpqua and Chetco

Upper Rogue River, Umpqua and Southern Oregon Coastal River Fishing Guide - Call Today!

Ron and his long time fishing buddy Rick joined me for a fun day on the river hooking both salmon and steelhead. It was a great start to the day when started off by hooking four fish in the first hole. We only got one of those to the net but that is just how it goes out there sometimes when you're fishing. The Salmon that we caught was a late Springer that we took a quick photo of and released unharmed. One of the fish that we lost came off right at the net and we were able to see that it was a chrome bright Summer steelhead.  It was an action-packed start to the day! We had a couple other chances throughout the morning but as usual we seen most of our bites very early in the day.
Thanks Ron and Rick for the great time on the river and for getting out of bed early. I'm glad it paid off for us, and I hope to see you guys again in the future!
