Found a few winter steelhead side drifting eggs on the Umpqua River. The big chrome bright fish are hitting the net often, but only after a really hard fight. I've got a heater installed in my drift boat and extra rain gear if your smart enough to book your trip this winter. It's really not as bad as one would imagine...Catching big steelhead in cold weather, with warm cloths on and a hot cup of coffee.
