Guided salmon and steelhead fishing on Southern Oregon's Rogue, Umpqua and Chetco

Guided Drift Boat Fishing on the Rogue River near Medford, Oregon with Phil Tripp and his client Willie

It only took Willie 4 hours to hook this beautiful Spring Chinook Salmon as well as a nice hatchery trout for his BBQ. Back-bouncing eggs came very easy to him! He's a prime example of the success that one can have when he or she pays close attention and sets the hook hard when you get a bite. It's possible that you may only get one bite during the whole day while "Springer" fishing on the Rogue River, so it's important to make the most of your opportunities.
Another fantastic day at the office with a really good fisheman and an even better guy!
Great job out there Willie, hope to see you again sometime soon!
